Our History
Established in 1987 as a general solution provider, Computer Initiatives has grown to become a specialist provider of financial system solutions. The company prides itself on being a developer of custom business applications that improve a corporate client’s control over complex business processes, as well as providing secure, auditable, transactions that are tightly integrated with the Microsoft Dynamics GP ERP system.
Our company slogan, “complex problems, simple solutions”, epitomises what Computer Initiatives is about: however complicated a customer’s business issues may be, we will find the simplest and most effective solution to resolve their problems.
Computer Initiatives was the first South African-based consulting firm to be approached by the local distributors of Microsoft Dynamics GP, when it was introduced to the country, and the company achieved certification as qualified installers of the product in December 1994.
Our core focus areas are as follows:
- Implementation and support of Microsoft Dynamics GP systems
- Custom development of client specific “line-of-business” systems
- Integration with legacy systems
Our EmployeesEmployees play an important role in any business. We are committed to employing and maintaining consultants at a senior level. All consultants currently employed at Computer Initiatives are able to work on projects at a senior level. We actively encourage cross-skilling, allowing consultants to work across multiple products.
